Feeling Behind This Ramadan? The Best Nights Are Still Ahead 🌙
Ramadan is flying.
Maybe you started strong… and then life happened.
Work got busy. The house got chaotic. Your energy dipped. Your focus wasn’t where you wanted it to be.
And now you’re thinking:
“I could have done more.”
“I wasted so many days.”
“I’m behind.”
Take a breath.
You are not behind.
Because the best nights of Ramadan haven’t even passed yet.
Allah, in His mercy, placed within these final ten nights a gift greater than a thousand months — Laylatul Qadr. One night that can outweigh an entire lifetime of worship.
So if you’re feeling unproductive… this is your reset.
Why the Last 10 Nights Change Everything
The last ten nights are not ordinary nights. They are nights of forgiveness, mercy, and destiny.
The Prophet ﷺ would increase his worship during these nights more than any other time. He didn’t slow down towards the end of Ramadan — he leveled up.
And that’s exactly what you can do too.
Not by overwhelming yourself.
But by following a simple, focused checklist.
Your Laylatul Qadr Reset Checklist
This checklist is not about perfection.
It’s about intention, consistency, and sincere effort.
Here’s how you can make the most of these nights:
🌿 Strengthen Your Connection with Allah
Do 300–3000 dhikr daily (while driving, cooking, or cleaning)
Send salawat 100+ times a day
Read 1–5 pages of Qur’an
Reflect on one ayah each day
Listen to Qur’an instead of scrolling
Learn a new surah
Take an Islamic course (like our 99 Names of Allah course at deencourses.com)
🤲 Deepen Your Salah & Du’a
Pray all 5 prayers on time
Add 2–12 rak’ahs of voluntary prayer
Pray Taraweeh (preferably at the masjid)
Pray Salat al-Shukr (Gratitude Prayer)
Pray Salat al-Hajah (Prayer of Need)
Make your du’a list and actually recite it
Make sincere tawbah
💛 Purify the Heart
Forgive someone for the sake of Allah
Quit a bad habit or sin permanently
Dress modestly and increase haya
Smile more and be kind — it’s sadaqah
Help someone secretly
🤝 Increase in Charity & Goodness
Give small daily charity (even $1 counts)
Feed someone fasting
Calculate and give your zakat (if due)
Call or visit your parents and strengthen family ties
Finally, prepare for Laylatul Qadr like it’s your last Ramadan.
Because one day, it will be.
If You Feel Spiritually Low Right Now…
That feeling? It’s actually a gift.
It means your heart is alive.
The one who doesn’t care about their Ramadan doesn’t feel regret. The fact that you want to do better means Allah is still calling you back.
And the door of tawbah is wide open.
The last ten nights are not about what you didn’t do.
They are about what you will do now.
Start Small. Start Tonight.
You don’t have to complete everything on the checklist in one night.
Choose 5 things.
Do them well.
Add more the next night.
Consistency with sincerity is more beloved: "The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few." (Sahih al-Bukhari 6465)
If you’ve been waiting for motivation, this is it.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.
The best days are not behind you.
The best nights are still ahead. ✨
May Allah allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr, accept our worship, forgive our shortcomings, and write us among those freed from the Fire.
Ameen.
